Late Breaking News:
FAR
SOUTH FIELD IS CLOSED TO ALL FLYING ON SUNDAY'S AND AFTER 5:00 PM.
The Farm Manager has
permanently prohibited all flying (including electrics) at Far South
Field all day Sunday's and after 5:00 PM on other days. Mike dropped by
our flight line today with a letter from a resident across the waterway,
with a specific complaint about excess noise on Sunday and after 5:00 PM
on week days. He instructed us to "immediately cease all flying" during
those time periods, and left no room for discussion on the matter. He
also informed us that if he received one more complaint, we would be
asked to leave. Flyers, we are in imminent danger of losing our field
permanently. Please comply with Mike's demands.

"About TCRCAM" Web Page: For those of you who have checked into the TCRCAM web site for the past several years, and clicked on the buttons on the left side of the screen to view the different pages on the site, you probably got down to the one that says "About TCRCAM". When you clicked on that button, all you got was an "Under Construction" cartoon. Well try it again. Now you will see a very neat article written by Courtney Payne about how the TCRCAM got started and the early years of the club. Courtney spent many hours interviewing people and researching all the available data and has done a remarkable job in this excellent report. So do it-------click on "About TCRCAM", see what a great job Courtney had done, and the next time you run into Courtney, give him a big "pat on the back" and a thank you for a job well done. Thanks Courtney !!!!!! Sad News---------: I have not been able to confirm this personally, but reliable sources have informed me that Joyce, the owner of Craft House Hobbies in West Palm Beach committed suicide last week. We are going to miss this fine lady, that was always very generous to us, when we asked for donations for one of our events. Reports are, that the doors are shut with no indication of a re-opening. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Joyce's family. The latest report: The Craft House is open again.
New Flight Line Pass: Don't leave home without it. Your new "Flight
Line Pass" must be visible on or in your vehicle, if you are flying
at Far South Field. Just like forgetting your transmitter, if you
forget
