APRIL 2010 MEETING
- Larry opened the April meeting at 9:00 a.m.
- Twenty-two members were in attendance.
- The March meeting minutes were read and approved.
- The treasurer’s report was not available because the bank had not yet sent the monthly statement. The report will be posted on the website as soon as we receive the statements.
- No Committee reports were received.
- Larry announced that starting this month glo engines may now fly on Sundays, but also cautioned to use the right props, guys, and keep the noise down.
- Don Brodasky advised of a safety item, in that when some people start their engines, bent over with a strap around their neck; it poses a real safety hazard. Also, people are standing directly in front of their planes after starting and revving there engine. Please step in back of your prop before revving your engine. It just might save your legs or eyes.
- Larry took a vote of how many people would like to have the coffee and doughnuts at our meetings. Needless to say all hands were raised. We will have coffee at our next meeting, Saturday, May 1, 2010.
- A comment was made again on how well our road has become since it is being dragged.
